This policy describes how ClearHive may handle information when you use the app to review and manage content stored on your device.

At a glance: ClearHive may process storage context and content you choose to manage, along with device, app, advertising, diagnostic, and support information. Local actions are handled on your device where appropriate; information may leave it when you initiate sharing or when limited technical processing is needed to run the service.

01Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the ClearHive mobile application and related services. It is effective October 8, 2026. It explains possible information handling, use, sharing, retention, and choices.

An account is not required for ordinary use unless a future feature clearly provides a separate notice.

02Information ClearHive may handle

Storage metadataFile names, sizes, types, dates, locations, and related details may be read when needed to support storage-management actions.
Content you selectFiles or other stored content are handled when you choose to review, keep, remove, import, or share them. Local content is not automatically uploaded simply because the app can access it.
Device and app dataDevice model, operating-system and app versions, language, IP address, approximate region, and technical identifiers may be processed.
Support detailsWe may receive messages and optional information you include when contacting support, such as a reply address or device context.

ClearHive does not intentionally request precise location, contacts, microphone, or camera access for its core storage-management experience. Local processing remains on the device unless you initiate an action that sends information elsewhere.

03Advertising and third-party SDKs

ClearHive includes advertising SDKs. Depending on configuration, applicable law, and your choices, advertising partners may process an advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, approximate location inferred from technical signals, ad impressions and interactions, and crash or diagnostic information.

These signals may be used for ad delivery, frequency control, campaign measurement, reliability, and fraud or abuse prevention. Personalized ads are used only where permitted and after any required notice or consent. The released app’s SDK list, consent process, and Google Play Data safety declarations should reflect actual integrations. No specific advertising provider is named here because none was provided.

04Use, sharing, and retention

Information may be used to provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot ClearHive; support actions you choose; understand aggregate use; display and measure advertising; answer support requests; prevent misuse; and comply with legal obligations.

Limited information may be shared with hosting, analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, support, and security providers that help operate the app. We do not sell personal information as a standalone product. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably needed to protect rights and safety.

Content you intentionally share or export goes to the destination you choose, and that destination’s privacy policy applies. Local app data can generally be removed through ClearHive or your device settings. Logs, diagnostics, and advertising records are retained only as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, security, legal requirements, and dispute handling.

05Your choices and rights

You can manage storage and other app permissions through device settings, choose what content to share, and use available device controls to reset or limit advertising identifiers. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of certain personal information.

Use the developer support contact listed on ClearHive’s Google Play page for privacy requests. We may request enough information to verify and complete a request safely. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.

06Security, children, and changes

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for information handled through ClearHive. No online transmission or storage method is completely secure.

ClearHive is not directed to children below the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of those requirements. Contact the developer support channel listed on the app’s Google Play page if you have a related concern.

We may update this policy when the app, SDKs, processing practices, or legal requirements change. The revised version will show a new effective date. For questions or requests, use the developer support channel on ClearHive’s Google Play listing.
